The Chair welcomed everyone to the meeting.

Received from Cllr Chris Gait & Cllr William Graham; reasons for absence were noted & accepted.

Disclosure of interest in agenda items – Cllrs N & G McCorquodale for agenda items 7a & 7b.

To approve Minutes of meeting held on the 31st January 2023.

The draft minutes having been circulated prior to the meeting were agreed and proposed to be a true and accurate record. They were passed as approved by resolution of the Council and signed by the Chairman.

Clerks Report

a.

Parish/Town Council Elections - 4 May 2023

Discussed nomination processes, clerk collected all nomination paperwork from existing councillors.

Action: Clerk to deliver nomination papers on behalf of councillors to SKDC offices by 04/04/23.

b.

Draft End of Year Accounts

Draft end of year accounts had been circulated to all members prior to the meeting. Clerk confirmed she had received the AGAR to start to complete and that she will take the accounts for internal audit to nominated body.

Councillors picked up a need to replace previously purchased litter bag hoops etc. The Chairman offered to purchase the appropriate and be reimbursed. Action: Chair to purchase litter picking accoutrements.

Code of conduct

Updated code of conduct circulated prior to meeting, discussed, agreed, and passed as adopted by resolution of the Council.

Notification of essential safety maintenance work - A1 Colsterworth to Long Bennington

South Kesteven Prosperity Fund

The Chair enquired if as part of the fund any grants are available for putting in and/or maintaining pathway styles. Clerk agreed to enquire and report back at the next meeting.

Grantham Southern Relief Road – March update 2023

d.

Notification of temporary traffic regulation Order - Lincolnshire (Various - West Area Surface Dressing)

Clarification had been requested re dates of works scheduled for Planting Road. Clerk attained confirmation works planned date for the 18th July 2023.
